June, 2012: Newsletter Update
Rachel Goble shares from the field about our need for a second classroom and a timely way for you to help—GlobalGiving's June 13 Bonus Day, where all your gifts (up to $1000 per project) are MATCHED at an incredible 40 percent! September, 2010: Prevention Requires Resources
Prevention through education requires scholarships plus resources. The foundation for our holistic prevention program has been laid, but to make this important work sustainable, we need donors like you to provide our scholarship students with the additional resources that give their dreams a fighting chance. $4 a week provides one child with tutoring, English classes, mentorship, and more; and it ensures The FREEDOM Project continues to grow. August, 2010: Video Update
The past few weeks have been full of changes here at The SOLD Project. Our founder, Rachel Sparks-Graeser, returned home after a year in Thailand, and Rachel Goble-Carey, our executive director, has taken her place in Thailand. Plus, the Resource Center is officially up and running!
July, 2010: SOLD Visits Local University to Recruit
The SOLD Project visited Chiang Rai's Mae Fah Luang University to recruit mentors and volunteers for our prevention program, The FREEDOM Project, that is working to stop child prostitution before it begins. We shared information at a booth during the lunch hour, then hosted a film screening that afternoon--our first in Thailand! We received hundreds of name of Thai and international students who want to be a part of our work.

February, 2010: An update from SOLD's Founder in Thailand
The main goal of SOLD’s staff is to give every one of our scholarship kids the tools they need to succeed. We want to do everything we possibly can to help them achieve their educational and personal goals, and the goal with the resource center is to offer a safe place for them to hang out and enjoy access to educational resources, art supplies, and people to assist them in any way possible.
